Pastor Michael Moore
Pastor Michael Moore came to First Baptist Church in April 2003. He grew up in Andalusia, Alabama, and was licensed and ordained by the First Baptist Church of Andalusia, Alabama. Michael received a Bachelor of Science from Samford University in 1985 and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1989. Before coming to Woodstock, Michael served in churches in Texas, South Carolina, and New Jersey. Michael also served as a summer missionary in Uganda, Africa in 1985.
Michael is married to Miriam Moore who is a professor at Lord Fairfax Community College. They have three children, Mandy, Mallory and Murray.
Michael’s hobbies are golf, tennis, woodworking, and writing music. Michael’s vision is to empower families to be healthy and functional.
