Carla was born and raised in Woodstock. She graduated from Triplett Business and Technical Institute, Mount Jackson, Virginia, in the Accounting/Data Processing Program and Central High School, Woodstock, Virginia.

Carla is married to Tracy Plaugher and has been employed with First Baptist Church since January 2000.

Hobbies include spending time with my family, cooking, homemaking, and admiring the beauty of God’s creation. I enjoy being a mom to our two Shih Tzu dogs, "Ezekiel" & "Shadrach". I also enjoy the company of senior citizens, learning their life experiences.

My greatest passion is serving God with a genuine love for others.
