We will express God's love to ourselves and our community in multiple ways.
We will identify and meet the needs in our community.
We will create diverse opportunities for the congregation to participate and engage in worship.
We will develop discipleship programs so that each person can identify and utilize his/her spiritual gifts through the life of the church.
We will concentrate on mentorship and intergenerational experiences.
First Baptist Church Woodstock is in transition as we seek a new pastor. Our congregation decided to take and conscious pause before calling a new minister to go through an extensive self study that will clarify the church’s identity and qualities for a new pastor.
The church called an Intentional Interim Pastor to lead us through this process. Click on the link below to understand the Intentional Interim Process.
First Baptist Church Woodstock loves God and our neighbors as ourselves, showing that love to our community through evangelism, worship, and discipleship.
As we show God's love to each other and our community, we will experience spiritual and numerical growth, and the community will desire to have what we have. As we take the Good News of God's love outside our walls, our church will experience numerical growth, spiritual growth, and diversity. People will participate and be engaged in worship, drawing closer to God and one another. In order to equip the church family in discipleship, we will develop specific programs, small groups, Bible studies and trained leaders
1. Bible based beliefs
